Chances are that if person [A] say’s “look into it for yourself”to person [B] about most big ideas, that person [B] really won’t bother to. The truth is that usually a person will merely relay what they have been saturated with most recently or even most consistently. Even especially if the idea is about religion, government, or education. Oh the sponge in a leather jacket.

If, perhaps, there is a major change in influence, which may be out of a direct afront  to long held ignorance, love, or other unbalanced arguments, the result may be of pure rebellion. Then the opposing  idea will be far stronger than the first, because there is a final sense of nearly blind ownership. This of course is the cycle back to the oppressively staunch stance like before save it is far more treasured as ‘original’, identifying, and otherwise tantamount; Or worse yet, “Personal”.

Maybe if we ever finish our journey, we were looking for the wrong things.
